Our story
Borchardt's Heating & Cooling was founded in 1999 by Ron Borchardt with a simple idea: deliver honest, expert HVAC service to the Wausau area without the runaround of bigger franchise contractors. Twenty-five years later, that's still how we work. Our team brings more than 40 years of combined HVAC experience to every job — residential, commercial, and industrial.
What we do
We design, install, service, and repair complete heating and cooling systems for homes and businesses throughout Wausau, Rothschild, Schofield, Rib Mountain, Weston, and all of Marathon County and the surrounding Northwoods. That includes gas, propane, and electric furnaces; central air conditioners; ductless mini-splits; air-source and cold-climate heat pumps; commercial rooftop units; and complete dual-fuel systems.
